Organizers of Global music awards Africa (GMMAs)have unveiled nominations for it's first edition


The awards Scheme seeks to' Celebrate outstanding musical achievement in Africa and beyond while promoting the continent Artists to global audience.

Burma Boy,Sarkodie, Simi,Shattawale, Teni,Stonebwoy,Efya,Jayana,Cuppy and others received nominations in Various categories.

The categories include, Global Gospel Song of the Year ,Global HipHop song of the year ,Global Reggae/dancehall song of the year ,Global Afrobeats Artist of the year .

Captain Smart has been suspended from his role as Angel FM morning show host-while intital reports suggested that he was suspended for criticizing government,the station has said otherwise-According to the station's general manager, Captain Smart was suspended for attacking members of government and not government.
