The new development being projected around The maiden of the Ghana merit Awards has it that, some of the categories might see a very tough competition as more loud names have been spotted pushing interest

Categories such as most sound engineer,producer of the year has one of Ghana's very own possigee on it's list whiles Rapper of the year has Joshua keche and song of The year also Biibi besi "by kwame yogot and Badder than" by Mona 4real on its list.
In a press statement released by The head organizer this very Scheme,it was made known that, the scheme has come not to put distinctions between artistes but to give each rank equal opportunity to tell the world the best they have to offer
This very note is evidential as the scheme has mix of both underground and mainstream Artists in same categories.
